At 11 a.m. sharp, Veterans Memorial Park in Miamisburg becomes a place of reflection and honor. Presented by the City of Miamisburg alongside American Legion Post 165, this official event highlights stories of valor and the enduring legacy of those who served. Complementing the ceremony, the Miamisburg Historical Society welcomes visitors from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with an open house featuring refreshments. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors to American Legion Post 165 on North Main Street, ensuring the day’s solemnity remains intact.

Centerville Veterans Day Ceremony

At Centerville Veterans Memorial Plaza within Stubbs Park, the observance begins promptly at 11 a.m. with the stirring Presentation of Colors. The Centerville Community Band will then perform the national anthem, setting a respectful tone. Attendees will hear a warm welcome from Mayor Brooks Compton, followed by a keynote address from Colonel Dustin Richards, a respected leader at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This ceremony pays tribute not just in words but also through innovative community initiatives like the unveiling of the new veteran banner program, championed by VFW Post 9550 Commander Richard Hughes. If weather conditions require it, the event will transfer to Benham’s Grove Event Center for comfort and accessibility.

Kettering Veterans Day Ceremony

On Monday, November 10, 2025, the Woodbourne Library opens its doors to a reflective exhibit highlighting veterans nationwide, with a special focus on the 80th anniversary of World War II’s conclusion. Visitors can engage with guest speakers and participate in a meaningful cemetery tour, enhancing their understanding and respect for the sacrifices that shaped history.
